John L. Schmidt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John L. Schmidt (Palmyra, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John L. Schmidt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Schmidt and Louise Schmidt; his sister Suzanne Yorks; his daughter Robin Favo; and his brother Matthew Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Maurina; his children, Betty Northrup (Michael), Marcia MeKeel (Bryant), Sarah Schmidt (Jon) and Mark Schmidt (Sandy); his son-in-law Wayne Favo; and his sisters, Patricia Lucas, Marilyn Gamrod, Connie Wheaton (Stu) and Betsy Peritore (Gerald). He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc. (123 W Main St, Palmyra, NY 14522).
