It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Zobel of Palmyra, New York, born in Farmington, New York, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Zobel and Loise Kober Zobel; his wife Barbara; his daughter Donna Swingle; and his grandson Carl Zobel.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Zobel (Janet), Karen Almekinder (Don), Linda Biehl (Michael) and John Zobel; his grandchildren, Mark (Rebecca), Eric Zobel, Mikeal (Cassie), Ashley Almekinder, Ken Swingle (Holly), Vanessa Blackmer, Kiel Hansen (Jamie), Rae Lynn, Mollie Biehl and Alexandra Zobel; his son-in-law Jim Swingle; his brother Herbert Zobel; and his brother-in-law Roger Larwood (Sheila). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
