She was predeceased by: her significant other Edward "Ed" LaPlant; her son Timothy Edward LaPlant; her parents, Dale and Anna "Rosier" Wheaton Sr.; her siblings, James Wheaton (Jim), Dale, Jr. (Bud), Susan, Mary and Linda (Ron Rich); her nephews, Mathew Bray and Mark Wheaton; her niece Juanita Marks; and her siblings-in-law, Norman, Charles LaPlant, Robert Flammia, Alice (Buckmann), Tina and Judy LaPlant.

She is survived by: her daughters, Candy Watts (Karl), Ruth Smith (Jim) and Jennifer Adams (Matt); her brother William Wheaton (Christine Dumas); her grandchildren, Tricia Mathis (Chris), John "Bubba" Conner (Jen), Jaycie (Bryan), Austin, Megan (Caleb), Rielly (Ray) and Elaina; her great grandchildren, Elliot and Oliver; and her parents-in-law, Sharon Wheaton, John Bray, Sam Marks, Marianne Flammia, Laura LaPlant and Skip LaPlant (Aggie).
