It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rena E. Brooks (Painted Post, New York), born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 20, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Roger Wilson and Irene Wilson (Catlin); and her siblings, Doris, Naomi, Leah, Gertrude, Howard and Charles.

She is survived by : her spouse Clyde Brooks; her children, Sandra McCarthy of Houston, TX, Patricia Brooks (Steve White) of Palmyra, NY, Penny Burrows (David) of Corning, Gary Brooks (Margaret) of Corning and Chris Brooks (Susan) of Painted Post; her grandchildren, Sean McCarthy (Christa), Joseph Colegrove (Johanna), Rick Brooks (Christine), Melanie Antevy (Jon), Greg Brooks (Michaela), Christopher Brooks (Marisa), Sarah Warner (Travis), Nathan Burrows (Hannah) and David Burrows; her great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Keeley, Troy, Morgan, Jack, Jamie, Orly, Hazel, Leetal, Christopher, Maddalyn, Hannah, Maggie and Gracie; and her significant other Fluffy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
