He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis Gardner and Cora Gardner (Shoullette); his wife Margaret; his children, Donna Liljegren (Scott) of Wheaton, IL, Diane Gardner of Escondido, CA, David Gardner (Shannon) of Auburn, NY and Dan Gardner of Chapel Hill, NC; and his sister Joan. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
