He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marian, Anthony and Joseph. He is survived by: his parents, Eduardo Goncalves and Clarinda DeRosa (Souza); his wife Joyce Cod; his daughters-in-law, Michael DeRosa, Rebecca DeRosa of Painted Post, David DeRosa and Jennifer DeRosa of Sherman; his sisters, Clarinda of Boston and Elzira of Florida; his grandchildren, Jacob, Elyssa, Lauren, Alexa Conway (Charles), Nicholas, Jonathan and Sofia; his great grandchild Violet; and also Cape Cod. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
