He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Ignatius Stein and Agnes Harvey Stein of Oyster Bay, NY; his wife Carroll Pendergast Stein; his daughters, Carroll Carris (Paul) of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, Eileen Peterson (Harold) of Stony Point, NY, Mary Cohen (Steve) of Hunter, NY, Patty Stein of New York, NY and Linda Stein of New City, NY.; his grandchildren, Marie, Margaret, Colleen, Monica, Cathleen, Ben, Michael, Mark, Matthew and Max; and his great grandchildren, Anderson, Colette, Brayden, Daniel and Sophie.
