She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Thompson (Hal); her parents, William Smith Sr. (Bill) and Madalyn Smith (Barnes); and her siblings, Susan Thompson (Smith) and William Smith Jr. (Bill).
She is survived by: her grandson Chase Jacquette; her stepdaughter Kim Thompson; her grandsons, Daniel and Andrew; her stepson Tracy Thompson (Deb); her grandchildren, Matt and Allyson; her stepson Mark Thompson; her grandchildren, Paisley, Michal, Christopher and Vincent; her brothers-in-law, Cecil and Wayne Thompson (Sandy); and her close friend Sandy Seaman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
