He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh F. Bartle and Emily Bartle (Smith); and his brother Bruce Bartle. He is survived by: his wife Grace Bliven; his children, Sue Lamphere of Oxford and Michael (Bonnie) of Preston; his sisters, Lorraine (Norman Franklin) of Sumter, SC and Carole (David Kross) of Earlville; his sister-in-law Joyce Ardron of Oxford; and his grandson Jacob Lamphere of Oxford. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
