He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip A. Sheridan and Jeanette Sheridan. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Sheridan (Newman); his sons, Philip (Krista), Kevin (Hillary) and Brian (Kari); and his brothers, Edward Sheridan (Claire) and Robert Sheridan (Marion).

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Parish (3 Scott St, Oxford, NY 13830).
