It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean C. Ryan of Oxford, New York, born in McDonough, New York, who passed away on May 12, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Purdy and Maude Purdy (Beckwith); her husband Bill Ryan; her daughter Linda Jean Wiley; and her siblings, Richard Purdy, Junior Purdy and Ella McMullen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Hraber of Penfield, NY and Deborah Wright of Mount Laurel, NJ; her son-in-law George Wiley of Oxford, NY; her grandchildren, David Hraber, Zachary Hraber (Lauren), Amy Figueroa, Emma Leyba Soriano (Angel), Jessica Stark (Ryan), Allison Wiley Bryant (Eddie Cole), Tom Wright (Tiffany) and Matt Wright (Megan); and her great grandchildren, Roberto, Grace, Victoria, Maddy, Jax, Mya, George, Brody, Mason, Avery, Grady, Finnegan and Madison Jean. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
