He was predeceased by: his father Linn C. Race (Mike); his brother Michael T. Race; and his stepbrother John Biermann. He is survived by: his sons, Cameron James Race and Brady Michael Race; his mother Jeanette Fowlston Race Biermann; his siblings, Lucy Race, Susan Blair (Joseph) and Terry Race (Norma); his close friend Veronica; and his stepsisters, Lisa Kowalewski (Brian) and Kathy Biermann. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins.
