She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Walker and Dorothy Thompson; and her husband Donald Race. She is survived by: her children, Gregory, Christine Holzinger (Arthur), Daniel (Gail) and Brian (Sayda); her grandchildren, Ian Race, Jeremy Race, Sabrina Gigliello, Charles Race, Christine Poulin, John Andrus, Alexander Holzinger, Katherine Burczynski and Sara Young; and her close friend Marjorie Rogers. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
