He was predeceased by: his grandson Jason Smith. He is survived by: his wife Catherine of Norwich, NY; his sister Regina Rignanesi of Old Forge, PA; and his children, George Jr., Daniel Jr. (Nancy), Linda Vecellio (Gary), Laura Smith (Sherman) and Lisa McKnight. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
