She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Parker and Blanche Parker (Williams); her husband Douglas Bennett of North Creek, NY; her sister-in-law Phyllis Allen of Chico, CA; her children, Richard Bennett (Darlene) of North Creek, NY, Kristine Bennett-Barnes (Bill) of Queensbury, NY, Deborah Bennett (Ron Goodspeed) of Queensbury, NY and Lori Bennett of Oxford, NC; and her grandchildren, Michael, Rachael, Kyle, Andrew and Jesse. She was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Betty's name to the Backpack Pals Program at Backpack Pals of Person County, PO Box 1720, Roxboro, NC 27573.
