He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Gilbert; and his grandmother Lega Hoveler. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Gilbert; his children, Devon Gilbert (DeAnna Johnson), Jacob Gilbert and Lauren Gilbert; his siblings, Kathy Gilbert, David (Kathy Gilbert) and Michael (Susan Gilbert); and his father Richard (Pamela Gilbert). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
