He was predeceased by: his parents, Caleb Taylor and Leona Taylor (Learn); his brother Ronald Taylor; and his half-sister Karen Gallagher. He is survived by: his wife Verda Taylor (Ahlberg); his children, Linda Lunger, Deborah Corwin (Ed), Donna Williams (David), Lori Greaves, Richard Jr. Taylor (Beth) and Melody Tobey (Wayne); and his brother Nick Taylor. He is also survived by 14 loving grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Richards Funeral Home (3670 Waverly Rd, Owego, NY 13827). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
