He was predeceased by: his mother Wilma Thornton; and his grandparents, John, Theresa Thornton, Charles and Arlene Wilcox.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Thornton (Morey); his son Kody Thornton; his granddaughters, Harleigh and Hayleigh; his daughter Karly Thornton (Harley Del Toro); his father Francis Thornton; his brother James Thornton (Lisa); his niece Alexa Langeland (Steve); his great-nephew Trenton Langeland; his brother-in-law Terry Morey (Kathy Newell); his niece Kaitlin Morey; his nephew Ryan Morey; and his sister-in-law Tracey Morey (Matthew Cluff).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home (15 Park St, Owego, NY 13827). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Owego VFW Post 1371 (207 Main St, Owego, NY 13827).
