It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin D. Whalen (Owego, New York), born in Waverly, New York, who passed away on May 1, 2019, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Whalen and Gladys Whalen (Thornton); his grandson Jacob; and his brothers, George, Lewis and Robert "Lawrence" Whalen.
He is survived by: his daughter Tina; his son-in-law David Kallin of Nichols; his siblings-in-law, Linda Whalen of Ohio, Hazel Sherman of Owego, Janice Bellinger of Warren Center and Jake Graham of Athens; his grandchildren, Justin (Alexi), Joshua, Gabrielle and Joseph; and his close friends, Roy and Terry Burgess. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
