James Morris Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Morris of Owego, New York, born in Waverly, New York, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Morris and Daisy Morris (Garrison); his father-in-law Edgar Burrell; and his siblings, John Morris, Dorthey Morris, Vickie Sweeney and Diana Campbell (Jim).
He is survived by: his children, James Morris (Jessica), Laura Weaver (Jason) and Marsha Morris; his siblings, David Morris (Sue) and Linda Lawrence; his brother-in-law Charlie Sweeney; his mothers-in-law, Margret and Karen Burrell; his grandchildren, Natalie, Hunter, Kaden, Amiah, Jaxson, Sophie, Camden and Andrus; and his pet Ruby.
Jim was especially proud of his son when he became the Chief of the Owego Fire Department in 2019 and supported him and the Department in any way, therefore, please consider a donation in Jim's memory to the Owego Fire Dept. 87 North Ave Owego NY 13827.
