He was predeceased by: his brother Carl; and his parents, Ralph B. Dwyer and Blanche Darou Dwyer. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Steven Todd (Nancy) and Clarissa Fuller (Floyd); his grandchildren, Allen Dwyer (Kelsey Williams), Stephanie Dwyer, Bailey Fuller (Kyle Williams) and Molly Witham (Corson); his great grandchildren, Elijah and Ona; and his siblings, Almyra, Ralph, Jr. (Bud) and William (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
