He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Dougherty (Schwab); his parents, Russell Dougherty and Clara Dougherty (Tholen); his brother Charles; and his siblings-in-law, Susan, Patricia Dougherty, Joan Dougherty, Jim and Pat Schwab.
He is survived by: his children, Jill Waldmann (John), Mark (Amy) and Beth Blomberg (Brant); his grandchildren, Nathan, Lauren, Noah, Quinn Dougherty, Jack and Troy Blomberg; his brother Milton Dougherty; and his nieces and nephews, Christine, Stephen Lane, Paul, April Dougherty, Jim, Tammy Schwab, Heather and Jason Dunphy.
