We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2025, at the age of 90, Helen Gradel of Owego, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Irving V. Gradel; her siblings, Joseph (Mary Wojenski), Felix (Libby Sokoloski), Edward Sokoloski and Mary (John Charma); and her parents, Frank Sokoloski and Bronislawa Sokoloski (Markowski).
She is survived by: her children, Teresa (Allan Wallace), Susan (Peter Giliberti) and Frank Gradel (Jeanne Hillman); her grandchildren, Frances Wallace, Michelle, David O'Neill, Phil, Melissa Wallace, Stephen and Jessica Giliberti; and her great grandchildren, Avery, Blake, Ren, Nathan and Logan. She is also survived by her several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Richards Funeral Home (3670 Waverly Rd, Owego, NY 13827). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Helen can be made to Guthrie Lourdes Hospice or Blessed Trinity Parish.
