She was predeceased by: her parents, Isham "Ike" Sherwood and Alice Sherwood (Rogers). She is survived by: her children, James LaPlante (Sheila), Julie Lakin (Joe) and Brian LaPlante (Meg); her grandchildren, Jamie LaPlante (Joe Osman), Laura Rooney (Glenn), Kaitlin MacWhinnie (Brandon), Carrie Waite (Corey), Gage LaPlante, Griff LaPlante and Rachael Ashcraft (Ryan Frisbee); her great grandchildren, Genevieve, Evelyn, Ronald Allen, Blake Margaret, Hudson, Hunter, Rosalie Marion, Gracie, Nathan, Riley, Alana, Allison and Jordynn; her sister Sharon Umiker (Gary); and her friend Sammy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Richards Funeral Home (3670 Waverly Rd, Owego, NY 13827).
