He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Palmiter and Reba Palmiter; his son John Palmiter; and his pet Jack. He is survived by: his children, Duane Jr. (Lisa), Dylan, Jourden, Stephanie, Danielle, David Palmiter (Deborah), Matthew Andrew, Carol Palmiter (Maui) of Christian Palmiter and Helen Cole; his nephews, Russ Charlier and Chris Charlier; and his friend Ildi Mitchell.
