With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles William Young Sr. of Owego, New York, born in Candor, New York, who passed away on September 17, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Young and Ella May Young (Huslander); his former wife Dorothy; his wife Betty; and his sisters, Beverly Balschweit and Olive Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles "Scooter" Young, Jr. (Therese) and Joseph Young (Arlene); his stepchildren, Judy Scott, LaVerne "Skip" Scott, Tom Scott (Pat), James Scott (Sheryl) and Brian Scott (Misty); and also, Charles, Karen Jagger, Nancy Babcock, Paula Balschweit and Paul Balschweit. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
