It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann Chaffee of Owego, New York, born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on October 2, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Darling and Margaret Darling (Harr); her husband Thomas A. Chaffee; her daughters, Barbara Ross (Karl) of LeRaysville, Beth Motsko (Nick) of Apalachin, NY and Alison Taylor of Rome; her sister Kathy Gramlich (Fran) of Speculator, NY; her grandchildren, David Roberts (Tracy), Ariana Roberts, Nicholas Motsko (Jamie), Kristy Motsko, Tyler Taylor (Anaka), Hunter Taylor and Riley Taylor; her great grandchildren, Aurora, Zackary, Kiera, Meredith, Elizabeth, Logan, Autumn, Juniper and Ivan; and her parents-in-law, George and Ruth Chaffee (Bawn). She was also cherished by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Mercy House 212 N. McKinley Ave., Endicott, New York 13760 to help guide others during their time of loss.
