He is survived by: his children, Cassie (Jason Lott), Jess (Ray Ricci), Ryan Shirley and Lucas (Katie Boring); his grandchildren, Sidney, Chase, Jaden and Landon; his siblings, Jerry Shirley and Ann Marie; his siblings-in-law, Judson Howe and Sheila Shirley; and his partner Sandy Frisbie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
