She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Pickard and Geneva Bernadine Pickard (Dunlap); her husband James Joseph Hickey, Jr.; and her granddaughter Julia Hickey. She is survived by: her children, John Hickey (Jill, family: Jimmy, Jenna, Jack, Joe), Kelley Gridley (family: Sam, Mike), Andrew Hickey (Tamara, family: Alaina, Forrest, David, Jacob) and Daniel Hickey (Lisa, family: Morgan, Kylie, Taylor, Luna); her brother Barry Pickard (Mary, family: Amy, Sarah, Jennifer); and her siblings-in-law, Rochelle Hickey, Ellen Cioffa and Jack Hickey (Terry).
She volunteered to deliver meals on wheels for several years prior to covid and received great joy from each of her deliveries.
