Betty LaFever Obituary
The memory of Betty LaFever of Owasco, New York, who passed away on March 13, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Scott and Lodema Scott (Hoover); her husbands, Trooper David Bodine and Richard LaFever; her son-in-law Dr. Anton Tewes; her grandson Mark David Tewes; and her siblings, Peggy Edmunds, Ruth Thomas and William Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Kehoe (Ed), David Gregg Bodine, Patricia Bodine-Oxford (Robert) and James Bodine (Diane); and her grandchildren, Brian (Carrie), Matthew (Lacey Jacobsen), Timothy (Alyssa Chartrand), Daniel Kehoe (Rachel), Elena, Kelly Plyter (Seth), Shannon Brown (James) and Eric Bodine (Jennifer). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Owasco Reformed Church (5105 NY-38A, Owasco, NY 13021). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
