He was predeceased by: his parents, William Christensen and Catherine Christensen; his brothers, Paul and Richard; and his brother-in-law Walter Hausner.
He is survived by: his wife Emma; his daughters, Candace Starling (David), Cheryl Gentile (Doug) and Susan Beardslee (Dale Sowards); his grandchildren, Zachary Starling, Jeff Starling, Taylor Cannon (Ridge), Anna Gentile, Shannon Erickson (Davin), Danny Beardslee (Misha) and David Beardslee (Brooke); his great grandchildren, Ksenia, Isabelle, Davin, Emma Erickson and Freya Beardslee; his brother Carl (Gail); and his sisters-in-law, Susan Christensen and Mary Hausner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
