He is survived by: his children, Daniel Hayes (Heather) of Watertown, CT and Kimberly Partee (Taylor) of Seneca Falls; his granddaughters, Aubrea Newell (Jonathan) of Sidney Center, NY, Sara Partee of Seneca Falls, Grace Hayes of Seymour, CT and Ava Hayes of Watertown, CT; his great grandchild Scarlett "Half Pint" Newell of Sidney Center, NY; and his brother David Hayes of Romulus.
