It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Yaple of Ovid, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John Yaple; his stepfather Donald Covey; and his granddaughter Caela Olschewske. He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Yaple (Steph Webster) of Waterloo and Dawn Yaple of Ovid; his mother Dorothy Zahorian (Perkins) of Romulus; his grandchildren, Richard Olschewske, Taylor, Bailee Eggleston, Amya and Trey McLaughlin; his great grandchildren, Ellia Olschewske and Alana Lobner; his siblings, Doug Yaple of South Carolina, Donald Covey of Georgia, Patricia Yaple of Cortland, Pamela Sweeney of Cortland and Donette Allen of Cortland; the mother of his children Christine Yaple of Romulus; and his close friend Jill Springer of Bath. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
