She was predeceased by: her parents, John McMahon and Anna Gallagher McMahon; her husband William Hartnett; her sons, William Hartnett and Brian Hartnett; and her siblings, John McMahon, Evelyn Murtagh, Anna Bedell, Marguerite Flodquist, Dorothy Smith and Frances McMahon.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Hartnett of Otisville, NY and Sharon Hartnett (Bob Majcher) of Cuddebackville, NY; her grandchildren, Megan Majcher-Hartnett, Maeve Majcher-Hartnett and Kyle Mathews; and her great grandchild Ella Mathews.
