She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Whitney and Edna Whitney; her siblings, Charles, Dorothy McMann and Joan Rodriguez (Alvin Shafer); and her children, Alvin Whitney Shafer, Edna Marcinak and Dorothy Malley.
She is survived by: her brother John Whitney (Mary); and her son Edward Shafer (Susan). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
