Wayne J. Hanvey Obituary

We bid farewell to Wayne J. Hanvey of Otego, New York, born in Oneonta, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 1, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Hanvey and Charlotte Hanvey (Young); his son Jody; and his siblings, Richard and Sandy.

He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Judy, Arlu, Jackie, Ralph, Jean, Patti and Patrick; his grandchildren, Brenton (Nicole), Stacey, Brittney (Cody), Danielle (Lucas), Garrett, Drew, Joe (Casey) and Liz (Kyle); and his sister Connie. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home (51 Dietz St, Oneonta, NY 13820). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
