He was predeceased by: his parents, Wellington Sargent and Esther Sargent (White); his daughter Karie Sargent Shields; and his brother Thomas Sargent. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Sargent (Welch); his granddaughter Abby Kusko (Tyler Marzka); his stepdaughter Michelle Post (Tim Borggreen); his siblings, Robert Sargent, Linda Philips and Sue Cower (Raymond); his father-in-law Jim Welch; and his siblings-in-law, Daniel Welch (Johna Smith) and Cindy Cole.
