It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Marie Hayward of Otego, New York, born in Delhi, New York, who passed away on May 22, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Comfort and Charlotte Comfort; her husband Harold W. Hayward; her daughters, Mona Begeal, Mary Jane Walters and Leslie Salmon; her brother John Comfort, Jr.; her friend Tina Smith; her stepsons, Thomas Hayward, Daniel Hayward, Richard Hayward and James Hayward; and her sister Mary Behrer. She was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
