He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Taylor (Maney) and William Taylor; his son Michael Semple; his sisters, Judith Crego (William) and Donna Dauler; his siblings-in-law, Michael and Linda Tanchak; and his close friend Bill Kelley.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Taylor (Tanchak); his daughter Pamela Semple; his grandson Matthew McConnell (Katie); his sister Dorothy Hogg (Robert) of Charlotte, NC; his brother-in-law James Dauler of Syracuse, NY; and his close friends, Peter House and Michael Hannen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pettigrass Funeral Home (196 Genesee St, Auburn, NY 13021). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Matthew House or E. John Gavras Center in Auburn, NY.
