He was predeceased by: his father Willard Lee Brummett Sr.; and his brother Raymond Brummett. He is survived by: his mother Mary Louise Rice Gummer of Oswego; his wife Helen Brummett (DeMello) of Oswego; his children, Jesse Vivlemore (Brummett) of Oswego, Joelle Vivlemore (Brummett) of Oswego and Willy Nelson (Brummett) of Florida; his stepchildren, George Danboise of Oswego, Anna Danboise, Jimmy DeMello, Darnell Luckett of Syracuse and Joey Danboise of Florida; and his siblings, Leon Brummett of Oswego, Johnny Brummett of Martville, Alice Parrow of Oswego, Elsie Marquina of Louisiana and Ettie Mae Derousie (Peachy) of Fulton. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
