He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy McCarthy and Shirley McCarthy (Scharf); his son Joseph Lawrence McCarthy; and his sister Ann Marie. He is survived by: his wife Faith McCarthy (Graham); his son Hunter McCarthy; his stepson Derek Schute (Cara); his granddaughters, Aiyana and Aiyva Schute; and his sister Michelle McCarthy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
