He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Conaway and Jane Conaway; his sister Jane E. Jakelsky; his brothers-in-law, Steve Williams, Donald Wallace and Edward Jakelsky; and his nephews, Stanley Helvie and Owen Schwartz.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Delahunt; his children, Ben Conaway (Amanda) of Rochester, Nick Conaway (Maria) of Oswego, Jane E. Conaway of Fulton, Jeanene Dunham of Oklahoma, Amber Phelps (Ryan) of Baldwinsville and Jeremy Dunham (Nytesha) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Carter Conaway, Lucas Conaway, Leo Conaway, Lyla Phelps, Ava Phelps and Madilynn Mulkey; his siblings, Bridget Williams of Columbus Ohio, Frank Conaway Jr. (Susan) of Oswego, Michael Conaway (Mary Ann) of Oswego, Kathy Wallace of Buena Vista and Colleen Helvie Rota (Ralph) of New Haven; and his close friends, Archie McLaughlin, Chris Kinny, Gary Holmes and Jeff Henderson.
