“Steve was a truly remarkable person. I was pleased to visit him and Linda, his wife, this past winter/spring at Morningstar in Oswego . . . . . . .even though his health was failing. So much will remind us of him…..I think of Steve looking at whatever he repaired or replaced in our house. He was truly loved and loving, caring, professional and an award-winning teacher. All our sympathy to Linda and his family. I will miss not only who he was but who I was because I knew him. I cannot atten”

“So, so sad to read this. Steve was a true gem of a person. He was a perfectionist in everything he did as teacher, carpenter and photographer. More important, Steve was kind, intelligent, caring, and honest. If you hired him for a project, you'd hand him your house keys, give him full access to your Burke's or Raby's accounts and he'd do a meticulous job. He'd let me help him on several projects he did for us and I learned a lot from him. We'll miss him greatly, RIP, Doug & Barb Caruso”
