She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy McGuire and Allora McGuire; her husband David; her siblings, Roy Jr. and Monette; and her stepdaughter Mary Carolyn.
She is survived by: her children, Larri Richmond (Larry Wallace) of Ithaca, NY, Traci, Christopher Richmond of Los Angeles, CA and Anthony Richmond of Oswego, NY; and her stepchildren, David Michael Richmond (Kim), Laurel Derstine (Larry) of Atlanta, GA, Deborah Van Schaack (John Miller) of Bisbee, AZ, Thomas Van Schaack (Kim) of Counce, TN and Peter Van Schaack (Louise) of Washington, DC. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in honor of Sandra Van Schaak to Upstate Foundation Golisano Center for.
