It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Willard Rude of Oswego, New York, who passed away on March 3, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Willard Rude to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his in-laws, Waneta (Willard), Marion (Effie), Doug (Betty), Carl (Loretta) and Winnie; his nephews, David, Durwin and Leslie Rude; and also Kim Rude.
He is survived by: his pet Riker; his wife Sandra Rude; his son Drew; his daughter-in-law Teresa Rude of Quakertown, PA; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Rude, Luffy and Layla Lin of Oswego, NY.; his close friends, Ronald Perry, Linda and Frank; his uncle Sam Boat; and also Celeste Carnes. He is also survived by in-laws, cousins, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home (147 W 4th St, Oswego, NY 13126). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location. When covid began in 2020, people all over the world including those from Scotland, New Zealand, Taiwan and the Philippines along with many viewers locally and across the United States virtually welcomed Lakeside Fellowship and Robert and Sandy into their homes receiving both spiritual and music ministry.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a local music program for our young people to realize the importance of music, or to your local animal shelter/ bird sanctuary.
