He is survived by: his wife Donna Somers (Torbitt); his children, Cynthia Butner (Ken) of California, Donna Allen (John) of Oswego, Richard R. Somers Jr. (Cindy) of Oswego, Step and Casey Collins of North Syracuse; his siblings, William Somers (Terri) of Fulton, Worden Somers of Granby, Tim Somers (Sandy) of Oswego, Irene Pritchard of Oswego, Patricia Pritchard of Oswego Town, Jane Kingsley (Eddie) of Oswego, Virginia Flack (Bob) of Sterling and Sandra Fox of Oswego; his grandchildren, Amy Allen (Chris), Tara Allen Magner (Matt), Jolene Allen (Dustin), Josh Somers (Taylor), Alex Somers (Kelsey), Kelci Somers (Cirilo), Cathy Senior (Jason) and Sarah Wood (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Avery, Luken, Summer, Colton, Talin, Taya, Piper, Jolene and Baby Boy Wood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
