He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lavey and Marion Lavey (Baylor); his stepchildren, Timothy Barker (Shelly) and Diane Kimball (Bruce); and his brother Dave Lavey (Carol).
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughter Kathleen; and his stepsons, Robert Barker (Joanne) and Richard Barker (Tammy). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
