He was predeceased by: his adoptive father Bobby Skidders; his brother Kenny Skidders; and his son Chase Skidders. He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Cook and Theresa Bush; his wife Stacy Simmons; his children, Kayla Skidders (Shawn Fontaine) of Akwesasne, Tori Skidders (Dakota Thompson) of Akwesasne and Kobe Skidders of Akwesasne; his stepchildren, Storm Adams of Akwesasne, Cole Adams of Akwesasne and Sadie Adams of Akwesasne; his grandchildren, Hayden, Londyn, Logan Skidders and Wells Adams; and his siblings, April Skidders, Dr. Ojistoh Horn, Sakako'he Cook, Vincent "Vinny" Skidders of Akwesasne, Kakwiranoron Cook of Montreal and John Hill of Tuscarora. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Troy's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
