He was predeceased by: his parents, James S. Carpenter and Mary Ellen Carpenter (Nolan). He is survived by: his children, Daniel (late Jean Maxon) of Rhode Island, Timothy (Elizabeth) of Cazenovia, Kevin (Margie) of Liverpool, Michael (Pam) of Massachusetts, Christopher of Oswego, Julie Cahill (Michael) of Oswego and Matthew (Patrise) of Canastota; his brother-in-law James Barnes; his grandchildren, Robert, Margaret, Zoie, Jack, Claire, Jaleel, Kaleel, Sophia, Madeline and Declan; and his great grandchild Zayden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home (112 E 2nd St, Oswego, NY 13126). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oswego Country Club (610 W 1st St, Oswego, NY 13126).
