He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Egnew and Gladys Egnew (Dimick); his wife Jean Egnew; his children, Dale and Penny; his grandson Keith Egnew; and his siblings, Edward, Kay, Peter and Joan.
He is survived by: his children, Merry Hauver (Ray) of West Leyden, Brian Egnew (Mary) of West Leyden and David Egnew of West Leyden; and his stepchildren, Kathleen Ruggio (Robert) of Oswego, Vincent LaQuire (Betty) and Kim Ellingwood. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
